Welcome to Epiphany Cathedral

Dear Friends:

On behalf of the priests, deacons, religious, and lay ministers of the parish, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you.

With over 2,500 registered families and countless seasonal visitors, we are a very dynamic and growing parish. We have a ministry for almost every spiritual need, and we have groups that celebrate many different styles of prayer. In short, there is something for almost everyone at Epiphany.

However, our blessing in this variety of gifts and spirituality, is also our challenge. Sometimes, such great numbers of people can run the risk of making a large parish like ours seem less warm and intimate. For this, we ask you to help and join us in fostering and maintaining our own unique “family feeling” at Epiphany.

The Apostle Paul told the Galatians, “Among you, there is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female. All are one in Christ.” He might have told us, “Among you, there is no resident or visitor, Floridian or foreigner, tourist or time-sharer. All are one in Christ.” How wonderful it is! Our communion with Christ overcomes anything that might divide us. In Christ, we, therefore, are no longer strangers to each other, but children of the Father and brothers and sisters of each other!

One way to feel more a part of the different activities in our church and to become more acquainted with each other is through offering your services as a volunteer. Our Parish relies heavily on volunteers to assist in carrying out a large program of Christian activities and ministries, especially during the winter months when so many of our friends from the North are here for a longer stay and come to visit us.

Please know that you are most welcome, always and in whichever capacity you wish to join with us, be it as a volunteer, a parishioner only at liturgical events, or merely to visit us occasionally at Epiphany.

For any questions, please feel free to call us at the Parish Office. The number is 941-484-3505. Our office hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

We look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely in Christ,

Very Rev. Msgr. Patrick Dubois, V.F.
Rector
