Anyone who has not already been baptized can receive the sacrament in the Catholic Church. The Catechism of the Catholic Church notes, "Every person not yet baptized and only such a person is able to be baptized" (paragraph 1246). Baptism leaves a permanent mark on the soul; therefore, there is no reason for a person to be re-baptized. There is no age restriction for baptism. 

Newborns to age seven can be baptised at Epiphany Cathedral with few requirements needed. Those over the age of seven will need to take OCIA (Order of Christian Initation of Adults) or OCIC (Order of Christian Initation of Children) classes. To be baptised at Epiphany Cathedral, please complete the baptism form below. After submitting the form, this is what is needed: 

1. Copy of the child’s birth certificate.

2. Names of Godparents (see below)

3. Complete the online baptism course.

Upon completion of the above requirements, a date will be scheduled for the baptism.

If sponsors (Godparents) are registered at Epiphany, complete the godparent/sponsor

Epiphany form below. 

If Sponsors are not registered here, they will need a signed letter of good

standing (or godparent/sponsor form) from the pastor of the church where they

attend with the parish seal.

If not registered anywhere, a duplicate copy of their confirmation certificate

will be required from the parish of confirmation with the current pastor’s

signature and the parish seal.

A link to our online baptism course will be sent via email to the parents to complete. The cost of the online course is $15.00 which can be paid when accessing the link. A copy of the certificate of completion for the online course will need to be turned into the parish office.
