As stewards of the many gifts God has entrusted to us, we are called to give back to Him by serving others through nearly 80 parish ministries.
All volunteers in the Diocese of Venice are required to complete a Volgistics Volunteer Application and sign an Attestation of Good Moral Standing.
Please use the buttons on this page to submit your application and attestation. Be sure to indicate the ministry or ministries you are interested in on the application form.
Safe Environment Requirements for Volunteers
All volunteers who work with children and/or vulnerable adults are required to complete VIRTUS training and undergo a background check.
Please note that VIRTUS is distinct from Volgistics. It is a national program that provides safe environment training and processes background checks through fingerprinting.
Once your ministry leader contacts you to confirm your acceptance, they will let you know whether you need to complete the VIRTUS requirements.
If so, you may begin the process by clicking the button below. When registering:
- Select “First Time Registrant”
- Choose “Venice (Diocese)” as your organization
